Public:Upload and save link DB

Template:Infobox bms HOW TO save:
1. Open Simatic Manager with your project

2. Right mouse click on the project => Insert New Object => *S7 Program* and rename it to the associated PLC for e.g.upload_db_Ext

3. Delete *Sources* folder, Symbols and OB1 in the *Blocks* folder

4. On projects with more then one PLC => point 2 and 3 has to be done for each PLC
5. Before we copy the link data blocks, we have to make really sure everything is turned off, it's recommended to initiate a Global Stop, via the PLC panel

6. Open the *Blocks* folder and establish an online connection => copy the link DB's

7. Go offline and paste the DB's to the upload_db_* folder

HOW TO restore:
1. Open Simatic Manager and open the upload_db_* folder

2. Select the DB's which you want to restore and click download, at the first time downloading, you'll have to add the IP address and the slot from the associated PLC

3. Confirm to overwrite the existing DB
