2 Hardware settings[edit | edit source]
2.1 PROFIBUS Shield[edit | edit source]
The cable needs to be connected to an EMC rail close to the encoder
If the measuring System is the last slave in the PROFIBUS segment, you need a termination plug.
2.2 Bus Address, Connection and LED status[edit | edit source]
3 Hardware Configuration[edit | edit source]
Adjustments:
- F-Dest_Add = PB address + 500 (501...599 is possible)
- F_WD_Time = 800
- F_iPar_CRC = depends on the sense of direction
- CW = 1132081116
- HEX: 437A2FDC
- CCW = 880615242
- HEX: 347D1F4A
- CW = 1132081116
- Set like in the picture above. Only the direction you can adjust. Take care that you have to modify the CRC according to this setting!
- Safety rotation setting must match with the normal rotation setting. (Safety CW, Normal settings also CW)
- Vorlauf -> CW
- Rücklauf -> CCW
4 Communication and Calibration[edit | edit source]
4.1 Communication to the S7[edit | edit source]
Standard address range:
PIW xxx + 6 = Encoder Position
Safety address range:
IW xxx + 8 = Encoder Position QW xxx + 6 = CalSet Q xxx + 1.0 = Cal Run
4.2 Calibrate the actual Position[edit | edit source]
The Calibration is done via the Safety Programm, it can only be carried out when an emergency stop is active. In case of troubles, please contact Template:EEC-Support
