1 Sinamics brake control hardware[edit | edit source]
DC/AC motor modules do have to terminals on the motor connector for controlling a motor break with 24VDC AC/AC motor modules do not have this terminals, therefore CU-IOs are used, this special function can be used by selecting
- MotBrake = "SeqCtlBico" ' "SeqCtlDrive", "SeqCtlBico", False
2 Sinamics brake control logic[edit | edit source]
Normally the brake is controlled by the sequence control of the drive. Detailled information is shown in FP -2701- because we use normally p1215 = 1 in LH1. To check the function make a trace with the following signals:
File:Sinamics Brakecontrol trace settings.JPG
Switch on => open the brake: After magnetizing is finished the brake opens that means, command close = FALSE + command open = TRUE
In order to show bit status please refer to Bittracks Bittracks
File:Sinamics Brakecontrol trace open.JPG
Switch off => close the brake: After drive is switched off the brake closes immediately, command close = TRUE + command open = FALSE, after the brake has closed and the waiting time has elapsed the pulses will be disabled
