The safety switch is an electromagnetic interlock device with guard locking.
1 Connection[edit | edit source]
This Drawings are only for the type CET1-AR-CRA-CH-50X-SG-105763 (Normaly used on the lines)
In case that a other type is used, check the manual instruction from the manufactor!
2 Commissioning[edit | edit source]
2.1 Carrying out teach-in for first actuator[edit | edit source]
- Apply operating voltage to the safety switch. The green LED flashes quickly (approx. 10 Hz). A self-test is performed during this time (approx. 8 s). After this, the LED flashes cyclically three times and signals that it is in standby state for teach-in. Standby state for teach-in remains active for approx. 3 minutes.
- Move actuator to the safety switch. Teach-in operation starts, green LED flashes slowly (approx. 1 Hz). The teach-in operation is completed after approx. 60 seconds, the green LED goes out.
- To activate the actuator code from the teach-in operation in the safety switch, the operating voltage to the safety switch must then be switched off for min. 3 seconds.
- Apply operating voltage to the safety switch.
2.2 Electrical function test[edit | edit source]
- Switch on operating voltage. The machine must not start automatically. The safety switch carries out a self-test. The green LED STATE flashes for 8 s with 10 Hz. The green LED STATE then flashes at regular intervals.
- Close all safety guards. Guard locking by Solenoid force: Activate guard locking. The machine must not start automatically. It must not be possible to open the safety guard. The green STATE LED lights up continuously.
- Enable operation in the control system. It must not be possible to deactivate the guard locking as long as operation is enabled.
- Disable operation in the control system and deactivate guard locking. The safety guard must remain locked until there is no longer any risk of injury. It must not be possible to start the machine as long as the guard locking is deactivated.
