Quick overview how ET200sp IO cards have to be connected. You can find a collection of all ET200SP manuals under the following link ET200SP Manual Collection.

We want to have two-wire sensors connected as two-wire sensors and 4-wires connected as 4-wires.

No tricks with hardware connection.

In TIA portal's device configuration the ihnput characteristic has to be set accordingly to 2- or 4-wire type.

1.1 Standard Two-Wire Sensor[edit | edit source]

1.2 Standard Four-wire sensor[edit | edit source]

For 0V connections also the AUX-Terminals can be used (depending on wiring situation)

1.3 Four-Wire sensor without signal ground[edit | edit source]

1.4 4-20mA signal without signal reference[edit | edit source]

e.g.: plain 4-20mA signal, 24V supply from somewhere (customer...)
