1 Troubleshooting[edit | edit source]

This article should guide you what to do when the server is not starting correctly and is in the Windows repair screen after for example a hard power cut.

The below mentioned steps can either be done through the HP remote console (iLO - integrated Lights Out) or physically at the server in the IMC cabinet +SI1.

1.1 Shutdown server[edit | edit source]

1. Shutdown the server by pressing and holding the power button or via the ILO integrated remote console:

1.2 Restart server[edit | edit source]

2. Turn on the server again by pressing the power button or via the ILO integrated remote console:

1.3 HPE Proliant boot screen[edit | edit source]

3. The HPE Proliant boot screen will appear:

1.6 Restart server[edit | edit source]

6. Windows will then boot in the safe mode and the normal Windows surface will appear. Then restart the server one more time and it should boot correctly, and you will be able to login as usual
