Perma Star Control Time at Oswald Motors

We use perma STAR CONTROL TIME for long-time lubrication of the OSWALD motors at TDO Outlet. New device is Klübermatic STAR CONTROL (Klüber)


Oswald Motor:

Lubrication time for A-Side bearing 6 months and B-Side Bearing 12 months;

A-side == DRIVE END == SHAFT

B-side == NON DRIVE END

This means:

If we have 250ml-Cartridges and we have set the A-side to 6 month discharge time, we expect a discharge event approx. every 9:17 hours.

One discharge cycle uses up 0.53ml.

250ml/0.53ml == 472 cycles to empty the cartridge.


4 Settings current device version with display (Klübermatic STAR CONTROL)[edit | edit source]

The device is configured using the display on top.

Time/Impulse Mode:

We use TIME mode.

Press and hold button for 5 seconds to enter configuration until TIME and IMPULSE are flashing. Release button and press again one time to activate TIME mode.

Wait 3 seconds to enter next menu.

Cartridge Size:

Use button to select LC 250 ==250ml cartridge.

Discharge Time:

Use button to select discharge time in month.

A-side: 6 months

B-Side: 12 months

4.1 Purge Mode[edit | edit source]

the new device offers a Purge Mode.

This is very helpful during first installation and after replacement of a cartridge to purge out the air of the device.

For this press the set-button for 10 seconds until "PU" is displayed.

The device will make three lubrication pulses.

Purge mode can be interrupted by pressing the button again.
