1 HV-Pinning Pre-assembly[edit | edit source]
1.1 Connection at power infeed side[edit | edit source]

Cut 305mm HV-cable

Dismantle 10mm
-
Measure 55mm
-
Dismantle red outer sheath

Cut of cable screen carefully
-
Dismantle black carbon layer without using a knife
-
Solder cable shoe with open end (10mm)
length towards cable screen not less than 55mm! -
Fix cable shoe with screw nut

Close cover and insert rubber seal
1.2 Connection at Plug connector side[edit | edit source]

Dismantle 55mm as well, take away black carbon layer as described already. Bend back cable screen over clamp sleeve and fit with insulating tape. Cut off the rest of cable screen and dismantle 8mm at cable end.

Solder cable with connector jack

Prepared cable for LEMO HV coupling and micro switch

Take measures from that picture for drilling works

Mark holes positions and drill

Drilled holes

Shorten cable of micro switch to 25cm length and dismantle 50mm
-
Fix ground cables 3x 2,5mm² GN/YE 100cm long at screw of micro switch

Dismantle cable of initiator at one side 50mm
-
Connect with luster terminals
-
Prepare coupling, fix and adjust micro switch
Check if you plug in the HC connector that microswitch is activated -
Install all cables as shown, fix with clamp for pull relief.
Run cables to ourside housing at the corner where HV connection is fixed. -
Cables outside housing

Insert cable
Maintain bending radius of red HV cable and don't twist the HV cable! -
Crimp ground cables together by means of a 6mm² cable shoe and fix it to a motor connecting screw

Put HV label above HV power infeed coupling
