1 General[edit | edit source]
The pressure transmitter is a 4-20 mA device which is supplied by the PLC I/O module. So the ET200 channel configuration needs to be set to D. In its factory configuration, it is set to display the actual output current. To avoid confusion, we need to adjust it to the process value.
2 Check the Range of the Sensor[edit | edit source]
The data can be found at the bottom of the name plate (see picture below).
Usually the range is 0 to 10 bar.

3 Adjust the Display[edit | edit source]
| Template:Image | Remove the cover from the display unit to reach the two buttons below the display that allow for parameterizing the device. Starting from the display mode, cycle through the Parameters using either the left or right button. Push both buttons simultaneously to change a parameter. |
| Template:Image | Minimum display value. Factory setting is 4, change it to the minimum process value, usually 0 bar. |
| Template:Image | Maximum display value. Factory setting is 20, change it to the maximum process value, usually 10 bar. |
| Template:Image | Position of the decimal point. Could for instance be moved one to the right when process values higher than 99.99 need to be displayed. The factory setting --.-- usually is OK. |

All other parameters remain at their factory settings. |
4 Check PVSS Parameters[edit | edit source]
Usually the sensor value is displayed in an ACT2 display. Set the factors and the offsetaccording to the measurement range. For 0 – 10 bar:
Factor (*) =10
Factor (/) = 27648
Offset = 0
5 Note[edit | edit source]
Please verify actual value if range is realistic. Shown on display of unit and visualisation system.
