1 General[edit | edit source]
Onboard the PROFINET and ETHERNET Interface is seperated. As we don't need the seperation, we loop the Ethernet trough the PROFINET (Short Ethernet Cable between X2 and X4
Template:KomIp232 ... Template:KomIp241 Ethernet Address (X2)
Template:KomIp242 ... Template:KomIp251 PROFINET Address (X3 / X4)
For one PCU, the Ethernet Address + 10d results in the PROFINET Address
ID must be set to 0
2 Settings[edit | edit source]
The PROFINET Name need to be assigned to the controller
- It can be found via FlexoTemp Manager Extras => Ethernet Scan.
- Identify the controller by its MAC Address. Click to Change settings to find the MAC Address
- Set up the Ethernet settings (232 ... 241) and PROFINET Name
- NOTE: The PROFINET Address will be assigned by the PLC automatically! This is the setting in the Simatic Manager HW-configuration:
- Download the project to the PCU
- Make sure that the MSB and LSB switches at the PCU are both set to 0
To find the PCU with it's default address, set the MSB to 0 and the LSB to F
- Set the address of each head station according to the configuration in flexotempMANAGER (MSB/LSB)
3 Troubleshooting[edit | edit source]
- Check if the Adresses in the S7 and HW Config are matching
- Connect online to the controller and check the PROFINET Status
- Check that the PROFINET Input/Output Configuration is set up right
