1 change encoder of synchron motor[edit | edit source]

After an encoder with C/D Track or EnDat was changed at a synchronous motor the encoder needs to be readjusted. Therefore you need to reset an existing offset angle.

  • P0010 = 4
  • P0431 = 0.0
  • P0010 = 0

Parameters for Identification:

  • P1980 = 1
  • P1982 = 1
  • P1983 = 1

Switch on drive, you can use regular start button or control panel. You will hear a noise caused by the pole ID current for approx. 1 second. After that motor will switch to normal operation, angular difference will be displayed in r1984.

After every On/Off P1983 will be reset to 0. Repeat this measurement 2 – 5 times to verify the measuring result. Therefore set again P1983 = 1 before you start again and reset the angle in P0431 to 0 before each measurement. Note the results and make an average over the measurements.

Enter this value as an offset.

  • P0010 = 4
  • P0431 = calculated Average
  • P0010 = 0
  • P1982 = 0 (do not repeat measurement)

Enter the offset in the script and write changes to EEPROM so that the angle offset is permanently stored in CF-card.
