1 Types of HV-Cable[edit | edit source]
we have 3 different HV cables in use:

Heinzinger - HVC30 (used with the PNC generator)

HiVolt - HSUS 3012 (don't use anymore, Telemeter 11826 is the replacement type)

2 Preparation of HV-Cable[edit | edit source]
3 Pinning Unit Side[edit | edit source]
- Remove the red outer isolation at 455mm and 440mm, don't damage the shield
- Remove the outer isolation and shield at 120mm. Fix a shrink tubing over the cut edges
- Remove the inner PTFE isolation at 20mm and cut the inner wire to about 6~7mm for the cable lug
- Fix shield and outgoing grounding on the front plate
4 Generator Side[edit | edit source]
- Remove the red outer isolation at 75mm, don't damage the shield
- Twist the shield into a wire and isolate it with a shrink tube
- Remove the PTFE isolation at the last 5mm and crimp the cable lub onto it
To remove the original cable
- uninstall the Plexiglas cover in the generator - unscrew the metal ball from the HV connection point - Open the screw from the connection point the disconnect the shield connection - Open the cable bushing and remove it together with the cable
- Reinstall the new cable and put all back together
