1 Description[edit | edit source]
The Festo SDE1 is a pressure sensor. It is equipped with a digital display and three buttons to set the parameters.
2 Types[edit | edit source]
- SDE1-D10-G2-MS-L-P1-M8 which can mount on a MS6 Air Supply Valve
- SDE1-D10-G2-WQ4-L-P1-M8 is for seperate pressure mesurement
3 Parameter Setting[edit | edit source]
Always switch to the next screen by pressing “Edit”. If you need to return to the status display, hold the “Edit” key for one second.

Template:Image Important: Press “Up” or “Down” to change output from normally closed to normally open
Template:ImageBack at the status display, a yellow square in the upper left corner of the screen indicates that the output is closed
4 Different Setting for Pull Roll Edge Chopping[edit | edit source]
Template:Image Contactor setting has to be set to NC if used in edge chopping pneumatic loop to be wire-break safe.
5 Reset to Factory Settings[edit | edit source]
- In case you have not more than 2 Hands, get a guy to help you a short moment
- Power Off the sensor unit
- Press all 3 switches and keep it like this
- Power on the pressure sensor unit and release the switches
