EOP - Restart Windows Service

1 Connect to VM

• The EOP visualization service is running on a Windows machine called Template:KomNamARSim
• It has the IP address Template:KomIp141 (e.g. 10.18.81.141)
• Connect to this machine using Remote Desktop
• Login with user root

2 Windows Services

• The service that is running the EOP visualization can be found in the Windows Services
• The service is called ARSim

3 Tool for restarting the service

• There is a special tool for restarting this service
• The tools can be stored at different locationson the Template:KomNamARSim machine:
  • C:\Eop\ArSim\eop
  • C:\Eop
  • C:\EOP Simulation
  • C:\Users\root\Desktop\Simulation
• Run the file called ar000loader.exe

4 Restart the Service

• If the EOP visualization is not working any more you can see a yellow message Service boot mode: reset
• Click on the Restart button

• If successful the message should become green Run boot mode: warm restart
