1 Test equipment[edit | edit source]
The Video signal output is a composite signal which most monitors can handle. Only you might need a BNC to Chinch Plug.
If you don't have a cable like this, you can easily assemble one adapter by yourself. It is recommended that you use a monitor next to the camera for the adjustments
BMS Test system:
2 Camera Setting[edit | edit source]
- Adjust the Dip Switches (S1) to

- Set Dial (S2) to 8 for Auto Iris adjustment
- If the Surrounding is to dark, the Iris asjustment might not work properly. Then switch the dial to 7 for highest sensitivity
- Adjust the gain (S3) to the environment for best results
3 Focus Adjustment[edit | edit source]
- When working at the optical parts, take care to keep them clean!
- Open Screw (S1) to take out the camera from the telescope
- Make sure that the Teflon Adaptper is tightend to the camera
- Set that camera back to the housing and adjust the Focus with the distance (D1)
- When Focus is right, tight the screw (S1) by hand only!
4 Mirror adjustment[edit | edit source]
- Open the screw S4
- Adjust the mirror by changing the position in the housing with our finger
