1 Introduction[edit | edit source]
The Optical Link Module (OLM) is for wide distances over 50m. On the front there is the Profibus plug (CH1) and the DIL switches (S0 – S8).
At the bottom there are the Fiber Optical plugs (CH2 and CH3) with a bajonet plug.
2 DIL-Switches configuration[edit | edit source]

2.2 Configuration at site[edit | edit source]
Here is the standard configuration for the site.
Connected is the Profinet Plug on CH0 and the Fiber Optic cable on the CH2 by both OLM's.
