The PVSS is the visualisation system for the BMS lines.

The new name is SIMATIC WinCC Open Architecture. SIMATIC WinCC Open Architecture is a part of the Siemens HMI portfolio and addresses applications with high customizing demand and particularly large and / or widely distributed projects and applications with the requirement of specific features, such as Linux, Oracle or as Video integration.

Login to the server with user "pvss". With the command
pvssps
it will show you all running processes in PVSS. Another way to see all PVSS processes is to open Internet Explorer and type http://kom:4999 .

To access to older versions, be sure that this version is install on your laptop or you can use the VM-ware (IBN-VM 1.0). On 64Bit laptop/pc the old version cannot be installed (use the VM-ware).
