Connect cable screen properly with spring or metal tiewrap to EMV bar
Make sure isolation is dismantled long enough and clip applies pressure

2 Sinamics S120[edit | edit source]
Attach screens of Encoder cables at EMV-bar only!
If this is not done by the switchboard manufacturer, do it on site.
Therefore, make a connection between EMV-bar and backplane with 2 x 16mm2 cables or 2 x high flexibel grounding strap.
Update: do not attach the screens of Encoder cables in the cabinet, the connection through the plug is enough. Refer also to the EMC guideline
