This is the explanation how to start the exchange of two RAID systems for example like on the 1754 VDB Line.

2 How to start this RAID exchange[edit | edit source]
- Log in on the server with for example with PUTTY
- Execute script changeRAID_before.sh
- The scripts you can find under /root
- Start the scripts by typing into the command line: root@Vdb:~ #./changeRAID_before.sh
- Change the RAID
- Switch off the power supply of the RAID
- Disconnect the "firewire" connection from the old RAID from the server
- Connect the "firewire" connection from the new RAID to the server
- Connect the power supply to the RAID
- Execute script changeRAID_after.sh
- (Re-)Start all RDH drivers
- Check log-Files
