1 Motor[edit | edit source]

1.1 Sense of Direction[edit | edit source]

clockwise=CW

counterclockwise=CCW

Make sure that all Motors are labled with an Direction arrow

Inform mechanics to mark motor if no indication exists!

1.3 60Hz Cooling Fan[edit | edit source]

For motorblowers of 1PL6 and 1PH7 motors at lines with 60Hz there must be an air regulator plate delivered by Siemens inside the motor connection box. Install this plate at the air outlet of the fan

1.4 Motors on frequency converters (Micromaster) at Lines with 50/60Hz[edit | edit source]

If the power-line has 60Hz and the motor is operated by a frequency converter, enter the nameplate data of 50Hz. Set the dip switches of the Micromaster correctly.

2 Encoder[edit | edit source]

2.1 SMC30 Modules connection[edit | edit source]

Tighten encoder cable connection at SMC30 modules and mark as shown (red marker!!) Template:Notice bms

2.2 Motor Connection[edit | edit source]

  • Disconnect the Plug
  • Check that no Pin is bended and the Pins are fixed
  • Reconnect it carefully, tightening only by hand (no tools) and mark as shown below

3 Encoder Connector Problem[edit | edit source]

In some rare cases the encoder pin plate is pushed back inside the connector housing. This can cause spontanious trouble on the encoder signal or temperature measument. Template:Notice bms
