1 Structural overview of HV wiring of pinning system[edit | edit source]
Guidance to consider for installation:
- All HV cables must be as short as possible.
- The HV cable form +GC1 to the pinning unit power feed point "HV-OUT+" must not be longer than 3 meter.
- HV cable must be installed continuosly in plastic flexible hose towards pinning device. (NOT in metal flexible hose!)
- Install HV cable with max. bending radius =120mm
- Check for possible crushing hazard within platform, die, or chill roll area.
- Check for high temperature areas, especially at die.
- Do not pull the HV cables through the frame.
- For connection of HV cables within the generator please refer to the Heinzinger document: File:Installation Manual HV-System 2020 1.1.pdf, chapter "5.2.1 High Voltage"
- For connection of cooling water to the generator please refer to the Heinzinger document: File:Installation Manual HV-System 2020 1.1.pdf, chapter "5.2 Connections", "5.2.2 Connecting the cooling system".
