1 Usage of Hardware Configuration[edit | edit source]
This article describes how to open the Hardware Configuration and how it can be used.
1.1 Opening Hardware Configuration[edit | edit source]
Select the Hardware Configuration and open it by double clicking. Now you can see all available Profibus and Profinet Stations connected to the PLC.
1.2 Go Online[edit | edit source]
For going online to get an actual overview of the station's status press the following button:
1.3 Diagnostic Buffer[edit | edit source]
If a station shows up the following way after going online a problem is detected:
To open the diagnostic buffer just double click on any station at the online project. The following windows can appear- depending on the module:

1.4 Address Overview and Symbol table[edit | edit source]
To get an address overview click on the following button:
To open the symbol table move to the below shown folder and open by double click on "Symbols" the symbol table:
The editor will show up where all addresses and the according names are represented.
