1 Instruction for the Vacuum Cooling Unit preassembly[edit | edit source]

1.1 Preparation:[edit | edit source]

  1. Check if all drawings and documents are available, such as e-drawing, PI- diagramm, as well as the yellow cable markers and device stickers.
  2. Label and mark all electrical components with the yellow labes form Brückner. The PI diagram is very helpful for this. (You can find the PID in the printed folders of the mechanics or in the SAP.)

1.2 Cable pulling:[edit | edit source]

  1. Begin pulling the heater cables; the PT100 cables can be routed simultaneously. Excess cable lengths may be trimmed as needed.
  2. Fix the heater cables and PT100 cables using the black clamps. These clamps can be found in the mechanics' storage area.
  3. Secure the heater cables near the hot area using metal cable ties. (Plastic cable ties are permitted in the cold area.)
  4. Pull the cables for the sensors and valves with a small loop and insert them into the terminal box.

  • Label all cables on both ends (terminal box side and machine side) with the yellow cable labels after connecting.
  • If you already have the cable labels for the supply cables, place them inside the terminal box. These will be required later during the installation of the complete Brückner machine.
  • Apply the yellow stickers for the heaters to the cover sheet of the terminal box.
  • Clean the machine and the terminal box.
  • Afterwards, create a small photo documentation and upload the images to the network drive “Q”. (This is normally done by Felix Öllerer.)

⇒ Ready for packaging.
