1 Ultrasonic Film Break Sensor P+F UC500-30GM70-2E2R2-V15[edit | edit source]

The ultrasonic film break sensor this type has been widely installed in our line such as Pull Roll, MDO.

There are 2 versions of this sensor (even they have an exactly same model number),

First, with potentiometers.

1.1 Electrical connection[edit | edit source]

There are also 2 kinds of Electrical Connection for this sensor, there are some differences between them such as the synchronization pin (XI) difference, switch output 2 pin difference.

First, standard connection (Generally for with-potentiometers type)

Second, non-standard connection (please be observed the manual in the box, in this case it has been bought locally in China)

1.2 Detection Length Adjustment[edit | edit source]

Regards to the explanation above that we have 2 versions of this sensor, so the detection length adjustment of them also difference depends on the sensor.

First, with Potentiometer. You can easily adjust the detection length by adjusting the potentiometer on the sensor.

Second, without Potentiometer.

1. Position an object at the required distance.

2. Connect the XI input to L-. The green LED lights up briefly after approx. 3 seconds. This indicates that the required distance has been successfully saved.

3. Disconnect the Teach-in input from L-.
